Key Resources for Student Support

  1. At Risk Resource Guide and Online Training

An online training has been developed to provide an overview of how to respond to situations and resources available to students. This video, along with At-Risk Students: A Guide for Faculty and Staff, can be found on Regis Resources. If you have any questions or concerns regarding a student, please contact a member of Student Affairs.

  1. Counseling and Health Services

As always, our counseling and health services are available 24/7 to undergraduate and graduate students who need help with stress, anxiety, and mental health during this challenging time. If you learn that a student is showing symptoms or has tested positive for COVID-19, please have them contact Health Services for support. For more information on mental health and wellness support available to students including virtual counseling visits and the Talk One2One phone line, click here.

  1. Dear Neighbor Fund

With the loving help and generosity of our entire community, the university established the Dear Neighbor Fund in 2010. The Dear Neighbor Fund is available for undergraduate and graduate students who are in personal or financial crisis and need our support. Examples of need include housing insecurity, food insecurity, and lack of access to technology, among other things. This support may come in the form of a laptop, assistance in purchasing textbooks, help with transportation to clinical or internship, gift cards for food, or other forms of support. If you identify a student who could benefit from the Fund, please have them complete a short application, which will be reviewed weekly by the Dear Neighbor Fund Committee.

  1. Hospitality Center

The Hospitality Center is open on campus and virtually and serves as a great resource for students experiencing food insecurity. If you have questions about how to access the Hospitality Center, please e-mail Dan Leahy.
