Digital Citizenship Module Available For Students

Digital Citizenship, the responsibilities we all adhere to online to create a safe and productive space, is more important now that ever given our increasingly remote connection to education and work. The Digital Citizenship module, available in the Student Resources Moodle page, has been updated and improved for student use beginning in fall 2020.

Usually introduced in FYS, the Digital Citizenship module touches on topics such as digital Etiquette, staying safe online, digital rights and responsibilities, security, and digital health and wellness. A quiz tests the student’s knowledge on these topics, and a certificate of completion can be downloaded. Instructions on how students can  submit the certificate are included. Feel free to add to any class, especially those that include significant online components.
